WASHINGTON, Feb 5 (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump will unveil TrumpRx.gov, a website offering reduced prices on prescription drugs, on Thursday evening, the White House said.
White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said in a post on X that the direct-to-consumer website would be “state of the art” and “will save millions of Americans money.”
How much consumers will save is still uncertain.
In October, Pfizer announced that its pharmaceuticals would be offered on the website. Trump said Merck’s discounted drugs would also be available on the site.
A senior Trump administration official said in September that the website would go live early in 2026.
