Winter Weather Update:

We have a chance for showers, snow, and ice later on this week.

Durham Report:

Over the weekend, more explosive news has come out in the Durham report. Nick shares an opinion piece from Byron York that lays out a timeline of events.

66% of Democrats say former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton should be investigated by special counsel John Durham over her alleged role in trying to gin up dirt linking former President Donald Trump to Russia.

U.S. Senate Race:

Sen. Josh Hawley has endorsed Western Missouri Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler in the crowded U.S. Senate race.

Hillary Clinton:

Hillary Clinton will receive the Forbes International Women’s Day Lifetime Achievement Award at the March inaugural “Forbes 30/50 Summit” in Abu Dhabi. The award is in recognition of Clinton’s “leadership and influential voice on the global stage in advancing the cause of women and fighting for gender equity.”

Biden Economy:

The U.S. economy under President Joe Biden has plunged to an all-time low.

Misinformation:

The Biden administration thinks you are stupid. That much is clear given its response this week to a Washington Free Beacon report exposing the administration’s plan to “fund the distribution of crack pipes to drug addicts as part of its plan to advance ‘racial equity.'”

Despite confirming the details of the story, the Department of Health and Human Services determined—more than 24 hours after publication—that the story was “blatant misinformation.” A spokesperson offered no evidence to support this claim. Asked for clarification, the spokesperson responded 10 hours later to denounce once again the report as “misleading and misinformed” but offered no evidence as justification.

Springfield Flag:

Last month, the Springfield City Council voted to approve a new Springfield flag.

A group who opposed the new flag started collecting signatures to get the decision reversed. A petition was submitted to the city, but turned down because they claim there was an insufficient number of signatures. The group was not granted extra days to collect new signatures.

There was also a survey conducted on how Springfield residents feel about the flag. Turns out, there was a lot of duplicate respondents.

January 6th:

An internal investigation of the Metropolitan Police Department has reportedly found the beating of an unconscious Trump supporter by an officer during the Jan. 6 Capitol protest to be “objectively reasonable.”
