The Bartley-Decatur Neighborhood Center in Springfield was vandalized earlier this week. It’s assumed that it was a hate crime. Nick shares several stories in Springfield that were assumed hate crimes that turned out to not be.

A black woman’s car was targeted last year at McDaniel park. The owner of the vehicle believed it was because of her skin color. It wasn’t. The person who vandalized her vehicle was also the same person who hurt officer Priebe.
