The Nixa Police Department’s K-9 Jack has a new protective vest after a donation by a non-profit.

Vested Interest in K-9’s Inc. donated the vest and embroidered it with the sentiment “In Memory of Captain David Dorn, St. Louis.”

The vest is both bullet-proof and stab-proof.

Vested Interest in K9’s was established in 2009, is a 501 (c)(3), charity which aims to provide bullet proof and stab proof vests and other assistance to law enforcement dogs.
