The Springfield Police Department is searching for the parents of a child who was found wandering by herself this morning.
This morning (June 16, 2021) at approximately 9:15 a.m., a witness located a female child around four years old, wandering alone in the 1400 block of N. Irving.
The child was not able to give a parent’s or caregiver’s name.
Officers on the scene have not been able to identify the girl, her parents, or her residence.
At the time of this release, the parents have not been located and no calls have been received for a missing child.
She is approximately 36 inches tall, 50 pounds with curly blonde hair and blue eyes.
