A Taney County jury recently awarded nearly $3.2 million in damages to the family of a baby that was misdiagnosed at Urgent Care at CoxHealth Hospital Branson and died three hours after visiting the clinic.

Since April 2021, there have been more than a thousand reports to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) of cases of inflammation of the heart—called myocarditis and pericarditis—happening after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (i.e., Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna) in the United States.
Confirmed cases have occurred: mostly in male adolescents and young adults age 16 years or older and more often after getting the second dose than after the first dose of one of these two mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. This typically happens within several days after COVID-19 vaccination.

Court Packing:
Democrats are renewing court packing calls after the Supreme Court ruled on two cases.
One decision was on a challenge to Arizona election laws, including a ban on ballot harvesting. The court upheld the Arizona laws.
The other was about a California law that required nonprofits to disclose their largest donors to the state government for law enforcement purposes. The Court struck down the California law on the grounds that it chilled free speech.
