Meet The Candidates:

This week, we will be airing SPS Board candidate interviews. If you miss any of the interviews, you can listen in the link below.

We also have sample ballots up, sponsored by Brad Pistole and Safe Money Radio.

Joe Biden:

Fox News’ Peter Doocy confronted President Biden, asking the president if he believed other world leaders would accept that “America is back” if what Biden says on the “world stage keeps getting walked back.”

President Biden made a renewed push on Monday to galvanize congressional Democrats to overhaul the nation’s tax code and dramatically raise rates on corporations and ultra-wealthy Americans.

Biden carried a note card while talking to reporters that was a cheat sheet for how to answer what were deemed to be “tough Putin” questions.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) stated that we shouldn’t have to treat President Biden like someone who is declining cognitively by having to help him say what he really means, Biden’s “intemperate speech” is “a national security risk.” And Biden lives “in an alternate universe where he just says they’re not true and he didn’t say them.”

Biden appeared frustrated on Monday when he was asked to clarify his comment about chemical weapons and other comments during his trip to Europe.

A new poll shows Attorney General Eric Schmitt leading the state’s open-seat Senate race following domestic abuse allegations against former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens, who previously led the pack.

Springfield House District 133:

Amy Blansit, a Missouri State University professor and founder of the nonprofit Drew Lewis Foundation, announced she is running for Missouri’s statehouse. Blansit will run as a Democrat for Springfield’s House District 133.

Blaming Trump:

A CNN analyst appeared to blame the chaotic scene that occurred after Will Smith slapped Chris Rock during the 94th Annual Academy Awards on none other than former President Trump.

Radio host Howard Stern became the latest media figure to compare actor Will Smith to former president Trump, arguing on his radio show Monday that they were “the same guy” after Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock across the face during Sunday’s Oscars.
