Ukraine: 

The Biden administration confirmed early Wednesday morning Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is on his way to the U.S. to discuss more assistance for the country during its ongoing conflict with Russia.

Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, the infamous “Merchant of Death” exchanged for basketball player Brittney Griner in a controversial prisoner swap by the Biden administration two weeks ago, visited the Russian-occupied Ukrainian city of Luhansk on Saturday to attend a political event.

Spending Bill: 

The Senate on Tuesday voted to begin debate on a $1.7 trillion spending package hours after it was unveiled.

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., spoke out on the 4,155 page $1.7 trillion omnibus bill that was made public.

Drag Queens: 

A Drag queen show took place in Kansas City last night, and the group encouraged “all ages” attend. And yet, the show’s promotion includes a warning for “adult content.”

Treasurer of Missouri: 

Vivek Malek, a St. Louis attorney and business owner, was appointed Missouri’s next treasurer Tuesday, making him the first person of color to hold statewide elected office in Missouri history.

House Minority Leader Crystal Quade congratulated Malek on his appointment but said it was disappointing that the governor had not appointed a person of color sooner… Isn’t she the same person who fought to get a black man kicked off the ballot that was running against her?

Sheep Dipped: 

According to the latest drop of “Twitter Files” from Michael Shellenberger, “As of 2020, there were so many former FBI employees — ‘Bu alumni’ — working at Twitter that they had created their own private Slack channel and a crib sheet to onboard new FBI arrivals.”
