Good Monday morning! A winter weather advisory remain in effect until midnight tonight. Those counties include: Texas, Greene, Webster, Wright, Newton, Lawrence, Christian, Douglas, Howell, Shannon, McDonald, Barry, Stone, Taney, Ozark, and Oregon County.
The roads are very slick this morning. If you have to get out, please slow down and make sure to check your road conditions.
Tyre Nichols:
Demonstrators outside a Memphis Police Department precinct are demanding charges against the five black police officers that killed Tyre Nichols.

The five police officers are ALREADY being charged and will arraigned in mid-February.

So why exactly are they still protesting?
Joe Biden said he was “outraged and deeply pained” after he saw the video released by the Memphis police department showing the beating of Tyre Nichols. He is now calling for Congress to pass his police reform bill.

Democrats:
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was on Twitter already spreading lies about a “Fair Tax” that has been floating around. It’s not even clear that Republicans are on board with the proposal, but that didn’t stop Schumer from lying about it.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who was recently booted off the House Intelligence Committee, faced scrutiny during an interview on Sunday over past examples of him allegedly politicizing intelligence information for partisan gain.

RNC:
The RNC approved a resolution condemning antisemitism as well as Kanye West, and other conservative figures who’ve made antisemitic remarks.

Russian Bots:
The Alliance for Securing Democracy (ASD) is a nonprofit organization that leverages the purported expertise of former U.S. national intelligence officials to identify Russian influence on social media. Its advisory council includes the neoconservative writer Bill Kristol, Hillary Clinton campaign official John Podesta, and various former employees of national security agencies.
ASD maintains Hamilton 68, a dashboard that monitors the accounts of 600 Twitter accounts alleged to be Russian bots. According to new revelations uncovered as part of the Twitter Files, the accounts on ASD’s list weren’t Russian bots. Moreover, Twitter content moderators knew the list was inaccurate but were reluctant to criticize it due to fears of bad press.
