(KTTS News) — Springfield Police have released more information about a deadly shooting Monday night near Calhoun and Forest.
Police were called to a report of someone who’d been shot in a vehicle.
18-year-old Lavelle C. Rose, III, of East St. Louis, Illinois was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rose was a passenger in the vehicle.
Rose and the driver, a woman, had been shot several times.
She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police have not identified a suspect in the shooting.
