(KTTS News) — A new Gold Star Family Memorial will be dedicated at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield this Saturday, September 9 at 10 a.m.
The memorial is a tribute to the Gold Star Families whose loved ones paid the ultimate price defending our nation.
The Brentwood Garden Club funded the memorial marker, which will be placed in section G of the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
During the event, a ceremonial wreath laying will take place in addition to a keynote address by U.S. Navy Commander Rosemarie Spuhler.
