(KTTS News) — A Dallas County man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the death of his two-month-old baby boy.
Brantly Scott from Tunas admitted shaking his son before he died in 2020.
Court documents reveal that on December 15, Dallas County Dispatch received a call from Scott regarding his son not breathing.
The baby was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Doctors did a CT scan that showed swelling and hemorrhaging of the brain.
Hospital staff also found bruising on the baby’s forehead, jawline, and on his chest.
Investigators say those injuries were not consistent with CPR and were not accidentally inflicted.
