Meet Bandit!
Bandit is a 2-year-old female Australian Cattle Dog mix. She’s a small girl at only 35 lbs and is fully grown.
Bandit was neglected and abandoned in a very rural community in Stone County, MO. She spent a lot of time in foster with other dogs. She enjoys being the center of attention and prefers playing with other dogs, she does prefer her dog friends to be her size or larger.
Bandit is a shy dog and will lower herself to the floor when unsure of new things at first. She’s come a long way getting used to a collar and leash and because she’s not a pro yet, we recommend she have a fenced in yard for safety in her forever home, no apartments for her at this time.
Bandit will need a patient adopter who will take things at her pace. Being a bit timid she will crouch down when approached by new people, but is super gentle, friendly, and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She LOVES belly rubs and once you give her some you will be her best friend!
