(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – One person was taken to a local hospital after a hit and run accident in Dade County.
The Lockwood Fire Protection District responded to the accident around 7:30 PM last night.
Upon arriving on scene, they found one vehicle with its driver side mostly torn off and the patient in front of his car.
Officials say that a tractor trailer traveling on Highway E near Arcola struck at least two vehicles causing 2 different wrecks.
Any information about the hit and run should be immediately reported to the Dade County Sheriff’s Office at (417) 637-2312.
