The traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall has returned to Springfield.
The wall, which is about 60 percent the size of the memorial in Washington, D.C. is at the American Legion Post 639 on South Scenic.
The museum exhibit “Through Their Eyes” will accompany The wall, and ceremonies will be held to read the 1,417 Missouri servicemen and women who were lost in the Vietnam War. Opening ceremonies for the wall will be held on July 3rd at 6 p.m.
There will also be volunteers on site to help visitors in finding their friend or loved one’s name.
Viewing the wall is free to view, and it’ll be there through Monday.
