Several crashes on westbound I-44 in Springfield are causing some big backups.
A crash between two tractor-trailers on westbound I-44 near Kansas Expressway started the slowdowns.
One of the semis is on fire and at least one person is hurt.
There’s another crash on westbound I-44 at the 78.6 mile marker past Glenstone and I-44.
Both lanes are closed.
And there’s an injury crash westbound at the 88.6 mile marker past the Strafford exit.
