Last week, we had a story from Ozarks First about tariffs and fireworks. The reporters went out and asked local retailers, finding that tariffs wouldn’t impact the price of fireworks because they buy their fireworks months in advance. The Springfield News-Leader didn’t get that memo. 

A historic quarter ended with stocks at records and many investors betting the ride isn’t over yet. The broad index has now added more than 9% since President Trump announced sweeping tariffs that sparked “havoc in markets.”
