The Springfield News-Leader wrote a piece about Springfield protesters showing support for transgender children. Nick reached out to the News-Leader regarding some disinformation within the story.

The story states, “SB 42, proposed by Republican Sen. Rick Brattin of Harrisonville, contains measures that would allow school districts to ban transgender girls from youth sports. It is one of many proposed bills this session geared toward restricting the activity of transgender individuals at school and when accessing health care.”
