Crime Stats: This week, there was 77 calls for assaults, 62 calls for burglaries, and 25 calls for shots fired.  This is just for one week, and just for the city limits of Springfield.

Violence in Chicago: Last weekend, Chicago had its most violent weekend (so far) of 2019. Between Friday and Sunday, a total of 52 people were reportedly shot. 10 of those reported died.
